Wer kennt noch Girlfriends?! Das war quasi das farbige Pendant zu Sex and the City und lief hierzulande auf ComedyCentral. Eine wirklich lustige Serie über ein paar taffe Freundinnen, deren Charaktäre nicht unterschiedlicher sein könnten. Trotz Dramen/Streitigkeiten und diverser Männern fanden sie letztendlich immer wieder zueinander.

Tracee Ellis Ross spielte dort die Karriere-Frau “Joan Clayton” und hat ihren “bekannten” Nachnamen nicht ohne Grund, da sie die Tochter von der Disco-Legende “Diana Ross” ist. Als der Pottschalk von ihren berühmten Mutter hörte war er echt erstaunt, aber irgendwie kam mir die sympathische Dame auch stehts bekannt vor…

Girlfriends lief über 7 Jahre im TV und im Februar 2008 war nach der 8. Staffel leider endgültig Schluß! Aktuell ist Tracee leider für keine neue Sitcom verpflichtet worden und dieses Jahr ausgerechnet in dem Flop-Streifen “Labor Pains” mit Lindsay Lohan zu sehen. Letzter fand ja bekanntermassen seinen Weg direkt ins TV anstatt auf die Kinoleinwand.

Trotzdem bin ich mir sicher, dass wir auf Grund ihres wirklich bezaubernden Charisma noch einiges von ihr hören bzw. sehen werden. Auf ein baldiges TV-Wiedersehen Frau Ellis Ross!!

Hello! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting fed up of Wordpress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
